On the large, hard main pitch at the Jubilee Field Stadium, both teams took their time to adjust to the conditions for the game of 35 mins each half.
Cuckfield Cosmos settled first and had a clear chance after 10mins from a corner, but the header hit the crossbar. Another clear shot was palmed over the bar by the Three Bridges keeper Bailee Baitup.
On 15mins, Three Bridges had a chance but Derrick Kabbogoza shot went just wide. A much better showing now from Three Bridges.
Thomas Hughes put Three Bridges ahead after 20mins, when he scrambled the ball into the net and then minutes later Kabbogoza had a chance cleared of the line, but it looked like it cross the line.
It was all Three Bridges now and Kabbogoza was causing panic in the Cuckfield defence when his shot from a corner was just saved.
The hard pitch caused the second goal for Three Bridges when a shot from Keiran Bond bounced over the goalkeeper. This was the first goal for Bond after over 60 games for the team.
Just before half time, Cuckfield Cosmos pulled a goal back through Robert Dean, when a similar arkward bounce gave Baitup no chance.
Leading 2-1 at half time, Three Bridges were well on top in the second half.
After 45mins, Hughes was clear and had a good shot go just wide. Minutes later the brilliant DerrickKabbogoza got the goal he deserved, when he battled through the defence from the half way line to score.
With renewed energy from three substitues, all the pressure was from Three Bridges and a desperate tackle to clear the ball from Kabbogoza resulted in an Own Goal from Freddie Burdett.
Leading 4-1, Three Bridges played out the final minutes and won the Cup Final and completed the League and Cup Double.
