Tingley Race Night

The great Tingley Race Night is on 14th November at Shaw Cross WMC. Please can as many of you as possible turn out to this event. I still have jockey tickets left, so please ask.
Fundraising

Please can all parents who have bought a horse/jockey or have expressed an interest in the Valentines dinner dance, please get their money in to me ASAP. The race night is on 14th November at Shaw Cross Club (where presentations are held) and the cost of the horse jockey is £5 each.
The Valentines night is 7th February at the Village hotel, the cost is £35pp and a deposit of £10pp is required ASAP.

The match will be played on Sunday 21st September, 2.00pm kick off, please be there for 1.30 at the latest.
Directions From West M62 (M621), take J2 (Elland Road). Turn left for Leeds along A643. Through the early tunnels to the gyratory (gas board roundabout). Continue onto inner ring road (A58). At the end of the long tunnel take immediate left exit marked university. Turn left then right onto A660 and pass the front of the University on the left. Carry straight on for the next 4 miles, through Headingley, straight on over Lawnswood Leeds outer ring road roundabout, along Otley Road. Pass the cemetery and Esso station and on for another 500 yards. Then turn right at Farrer Lane traffic lights and then immediate right onto Adel Lane. The entrance to Bedquilts playing fields are 100 yards on your left. The drive opens up into car park and fields.
For those with SATNAV the postcode for Adel memorial ground is LS16 8DE (this is approx 400yards away).

Match Awards

There will be two match awards put onto the website each week. Each as prestigious as the other. The first will be Player Of The Match (POTM), which will be awarded to the player who first catches my eye, so try and walk past me first and it's yours. The second will be Howler Of The Match (HOTM) and this will be the player who gives me the biggest laugh of the match whilst making an utter mess of whatever she was doing. So please knock yourselves out trying to get these awards.
