Not the greatest of performances, but considering Tuesday nights efforts, and the fact that most of these players have not played two games in a week for quite a while, it was another 100% effort.
Dean and Neil made just the one change from Tuesday, enforced because Fidel Glanville was held up on the motorway getting to the ground, and the lad's had Ludlow on the back foot from the kick off, and after a number of chances. Fidel's replacement Tyrone Falconer put us in front with a beautifull left foot shot. Tividale were unable to extend their lead in the first half despite constant pressure, and in the second half Ludlow got more of a foothold, but were unable to trouble keeper Phil Smart due to some great walk from our back three of Sean Jasper, Chris Wattley and skipper Danny Mason. Tividale could have extended their lead on 75 minutes when Lee Lough had a chance from the penalty spot, but he hit his shot wide. Still we held on to earn the three points in the end.
