Striker Brown breaks bone in his foot (20/04/2007) |
Top scorer Dave brown is possibly out for the season with a broken metatarsal (Beckham & Rooney injury). It is a massive blow for Dave & The Dale, as he had just returned from a groin strain |
Callum Martin signs (08/10/2006) |
In a new twist to the following story. Barnt Green Spartak have questioned the legibility of Callum playing against them in the FA Vase.
We at Tividale FC can assure everyone that Callum was registered well before the 12 pm on Friday 6th October deadline
Tividale have secured the signing of former Gornal striker Callum Martin. Callum will link up with his strike partner from last season David Brown. Dave & Callum caused us all sorts of problems in our two defeats aginst them last season. Well if you can't beat them sign them.

Young Dobbo leaves (08/10/2006) |
Ian Robins has left the club. Ian struggled to stake a regular place in the side, and manager Ross Hill had no option but to accept his request to try his luck elsewere. Ian followed his brother Dave here last season. |
Ben & Andy struggling (08/10/2006) |
Midfielders Ben stretton & Andy Dickens are both now cosidered long term injury casualties with a pulled hamstring and a shin injury respectively |
Spiller departs. Onions arrives (02/09/2006) |
Manager Ross Hill stated in the sporting Star 'That the vultures were gathering'. Well they have swooped. Southern Midland side Sutton Coldfield Town have come in and signed defender Phil Male. Spiller was signed from Rushall Olympic at the start of the season, but it was no surprise that he would follow Matthew Barnes-Homer to a club at a higher level. Lets hope he is as much a hit as Matt was in his amazing hat trick debut for Willenhall Town. All the best Spiller.
As with Matthew Barnes-Homer and Wayne Lawley Tividale will keep his WMRL registration's, so hopefully we will not have seen the last of them in Tividale shirts.
Tividale have signed one of the top performers from last season, former Great Wyrley midfielder Lee Onions. Lee was courted by a number of club's at the start of the season, but we are pleased to have won the race for his signature. |
Tividale lose two striker in 24 hours (30/08/2006) |
Tividale lost two strikers in the space of 24 hours when Matthew Barnes-Homer signed for Willenhall Town & Wayne Lawley went to Barnt Green Spartak. In the case of Matt it was expected as manager Ross Hill said in the Sporting Star 'The vultures have been flocking since he scored an hat trick against Willenhall in a pre season friendly', but no one saw the departure of Wayne coming. But as is the Tividale tradition both players left on the best of term's and we hope they do well at their new club's. |
IMPORTANT STATEMENT (29/01/2007) |
On the original match report It was mentioned that a 21 man brawl happened during the game. This is not a fact, the comment was tongue in cheek angled at first the lack of any action to report and secondly the fact that keeper Chris Walwyn better known as 'Billy' could not run the length of the pitch because of his strain.
Yes a couple of the Bridgnorth lads took exception to the challenge, and the referee took action by booking Josh Skidmore, and anyone who was there will testify.
It would seem that the report has caused a bit of a stir, and I am glad that you fan's are taking time out to read the reports.
We will endeavour from now on to report the facts as they are, however little there is. |
