New Signings

Tonyrefail Welfare AFC can confirm they have signed Andrew Evans. Evans, A natural defender has played just one season of 11 a side football in his so far, 24 year old life. That season he spent with Pencoed FC in the Bridgend Division 1. Pencoed had struggled in the league for a few years and actually gained promotion that year when former player Fraser Williams and current player David Williams also played. Andrew hada great first season but again stopped playing but after some persuassion, has decided to come back. He will add good stabiliy to the team. His fitness is a great factor and his short passing game is a great addition to the team.

Tonyrefail Welfare have put 7 days notice to Pontyclun FC of Welsh League division 2 for the transfer of former player and top goal scorer for the past two seasons Fraser Williams. Tonyrefail have already confirmed that Fraser wants to re-sign and has turned down a move to Welsh League division 1 outfit GARW SBGC. We hope the transfer is done by this Saturday in time for the local Derby against Tonyrefail BGC/
