Torpedo Grove seniors started life as a 5-aside team, playing at the powerleague in stockport.(see club history for full details)This is our 6th season as an 11-aside team and last season we won our first silverware, the invitation cup. Three years ago we got to the stockport cup final but unfortunately we were beaten 5-2 by Offerton Nomads.Two season ago we lost the first four games, and the season looked to be going the same way as the final but then we won one and the lads seemed to just click, we ended up finishing second in the league wich is our highest place finish yet. Lets hope that this year we can bring home the bacon!!!
