The Year Of Improvement

After around 18 months together, 2007 saw a huge improvement in the form of Total Tranmere FC.

Boosted by a number of new signings, the Total Tranmere squad grew and performances changed for the better.

Instead of playing lots of 6 or 7 aside matches, "TT" stuck to XI aside and began to gel as a team.

Players such as McMullen, Reid, Franks, Glavin, Jones, Burrows and Brilley were boosted by the arrival of the likes of Watkins, giving the team more attacking and goalscoring options whilst McKeown and Leslie slotted in nicely in defence.

Suddenly, games which the team had previously lost by seven or eight goals were a lot closer, with the season finishing on a high point thanks to a wonderful comeback against Royal Bengal, which saw TT over turn a 4-0 defecit to claim a draw.
