In their 1st season Clipper Schooner entered the Sat league and a great start of 7 wins and 2 draws in first part of the season set us on our way to an excellent season. There were dissapointments in the Sat League Cup and Norfolk Cup. But a great run in the 2nd Div League Cup saw us get to the final. But beaten by an experienced MK Res. A great season for a new team.

After a great 1st season. Clipper changed their sponsors and became Tramways FC. And started their 2nd season with a new tough challenge of football in the 1st Division.

With half of the team deciding to leave Tramways had to rebuild after having only 7 players left from the team that played in the Cup final starting this campaign Tramways signed 10 new players to hopefully give them a fighting chance. This season proved to be a very tough season for all at the club.

Our Ambitions for the season were to avoid relegation and a possible good cup run. Unfortunately due to lack of commitment and a team which struggled to gell in the first half of the season Tramways could not hold onto their 1st division status and faced relegated. They were ready to be playing 2nd division football in the 2009 / 2010 season. However due to a re-structor in the leagues tables because of teams dropping out of the league Tramways held onto their 1st division status

Hopefully if we can keep the squad we have developed in the 2nd half of the season, there is no reason why we can't be in a mid table team in the 1st division.

Ambitions for 2009 / 2010 are to avoid relegation and a possible Cup Final.
