Not the end result we wanted but a well fought game, some very iffy calls by the ref, including the penalty award when Haddy player fell after stepping on ball resulting in 1st goal of game. Thompson replaced by Porteous who went on to equalise with a well taken punt having seen goalie off line.

Tranent went on to score a second soon into the second half when sub mitchell cut ball back across goal for Toye to put in back of net. Tranent held lead for some time and Mitchell had two golden opportunities to score again the best being when he closed down the goalie on a pass back and the ball rebounded off Mitch towards goal. Unfortunately it was the lack of pace from the forward that stopped him getting to the ball before it went past the open goal mouth. By time he reached it the Haddington defender had caught him up and best we got was a corner.

Haddington equalised soon after and then went on to take the game 3-2. At end of day we have lost out by 3 points and have finished a respectable 2nd in league. Well done lads, may have been different story had some players not packed in and hadn-t had long term injured.
