Yet another pitch mess up! when Treowen arrived at Rhayader the pitch was the size of a tennis court, as a Treowen player did not turn up there was confusion who was playing where and Treowen feilded 10 players instead of 9 for the first minute or so, the Rhayader manager said we could play 10 a side if we wish but as there wasn't room for 9 a side I turned down the offer.
Every time someone touched the ball it went out for a throw in, I have never seen so many throw ins in one game, every goal kick ended up in a throw in.
Rhayader took the lead with a corner which was deflected into the Treowen net to make it 1-0 to the home side.
Treowen kept on applying pressure but with no room to move the ball around Rhayader found Treown's attacks easy to defend.
Treowen were rewarded with an equaliser when Deran Jones found a gap in the crowded penalty area to net her 15th goal of the season for the under 16's.

The second half sore even more throw ins than the first and everytime both teams tried to pass the ball there were players from both sides in the way as the pitch was so small, there was no space to run into and every time Treowen tried to take the ball wide and up the wings it resulted in yet another throw in.

I hope clubs are going to sort out their pitches and goals for next season.
