ABOUT THE CLUB

We're a gay friendly football team based in Trowbridge - Wiltshire. We are taking a squad of 18 players to the IGLFA World Championships being held in August 2010 in Cologne Germany. The Championships will take part as part of the Gay Games.

The Trowbridge Tigers will be making their debut in the GFSN National League in the 2010/11 season playing in Divison 2 against teams including Birmingham Blaze, Leftfooters, Cardiff Dragons, Leicester Wildcats and Nottingham Ball Bois.

Would moving kids' football to a summer game help improve the development of young footballers?
Yes - better pitches mean a better chance to develop technique/skills
No - wouldn't make any real difference to development
Maybe - but I'd be worried about more injuries on firm pitches
