Honours 2006/07 |
A strange season this one. We started off in great spirits smashing Rio 8-0 in our first game. By November we were top of the league, unbeaten and on fire. This all changed very quickly. Most notably one of our best players Lloyd went back to live in Bermuda scoring 9 goals in 5 games, we never managed to fill the gap left by him as he could play in centre mid as easily as up front (he has since gone ono represent his country at 29 years old scoring his first national goal as well!). The Mark Benson left us 13 games into the season for family reasons, then Paul Donnelly who has also been a rock for us decided that he too would need to drop the football to concentrate on his career and his girlfriend. In the space of weeks we had lost 2 of our centre halves and a centre forward / midfield engine. Ginger has missed 11 games though suspension and work, Tommy has missed 9 games, Ben - 3 months, Kev Richards - 2.5 months, Mike Cole missed the end of season due to his hamstring injury, Darren Nelson joined late - then left 4 weeks later, Prem injured only really made around 10 games, Metin had his eyes lasered and missed around 3 months and so the list goes on... Depleted and with not enough cover to keep up our winning streak we lost 4 games in 5 weeks in Nov / Dec and saw our league title hopes crushed. We never recovered, players like Kev Hunt got disheartened and left with no word to his team mates, Roydon too decided he had had enough. It reached its lowest ebb when one week in ealry Jan we had to cancel a cup game due to lack of players when I only had 7 available men.
Despite all this we still managed to make 2 cup finals, one of which we won and finish 3rd in the league - not bad considering!

Honours 2005 /06 |
Gaining 2nd division title status Tudor FC went onto win the league with a goal difference of +50 and by 14 points! We also reached the George Gyer cup final but an injury ravaged and depleted squad lost 3-1 to Clavisque on the day.

Honours 2004/05 |
Entry into division 4 late meant that we had no chance on winning the league title as we were 7 games adrift and had no way of playing them. This did not stop the club from reaching 3 cup finals (Junior League, Divisional and Junior Challenge Cup) winning 1 (Harry Ash) and losing the other 2 to a rampant Highgate side from the 3rd Division (Marlon Harewood sponsored them and came to both finals!)
