The Start
Where to start…..
The season has had its ups and downs with definite High points with some awful lows however I think as a team we have grown and improved so much, some players more then others. If you look back at the start of the season we were awful didn’t play for each other argued far too much and made silly mistakes one after the other part of this was fitness but some of it was a lack of interest and pride…
However we now play as a team, fight for ever inch and in general have improved tenfold, the signing of Matt Orford by far one of the best goal keepers in the league improved our team as the defence got confidence in the goal keeper which we didn’t have before, Elliot Wakeford and Chris Turner have both really improved their game this season with their understanding of the game and I hope to see this carry on next season…
All in all it has been an enjoyable season and a pleasure to manage this team apart from a few games that don’t need to be mentioned again! I think my highlight for the season has to be our 5-3 win over the Hope and Anchor they really didn’t know what hit them and certainly didn’t like it… I saw a team most teams would be scared of play that day and get beaten by the underdogs I hope to see allot more of that next year from the team and look forward to the start of the season for now that’s all.
