Walkabout travelled to Cowpen sport short of a couple of key players but still started the game brightly with a couple of half chances been created, but it was Cowpen who struck first with their first attack of the game when a towering header sent the ball passed helpless keeper from a corner. Walkabout pushed forward again trying to send striker Crutchley through but only for him to be flagged offside a couple of times, but then once again with cowpen second attack they scored with a through ball and a well taken finish. Walkabout once again came back and started to pull cowpen apart with Jenison and mactiernan providing the width and Crutchley with his pace upfront getting in behind it wasn't long before walkabout scored after a fine headed ball into the area by Jenison for Crutchley to volley home, five minutes later Walkabout levelled the game when fine build up play starting in midfield with Craney and the once again impressive Dawson playing in Mactiernan who finished clinically to make it 2-2. Walkabout continued to press and got they reward before half time when goal machine Crutchley grabbed two more before half time to make the score 4-2 at the interval.
The second was a quieter half with walkabout creating a few chances and Cowpan sport pressing the game a bit more but fullbacks kirwin and Parker were solid and impressive centre half's Murrell and Harris were solid leaving keeper Murphy nothing to do for the second half for Walkabout to claim a much needed 3 points.
