Walsall finished of the season with an unbeaten run of 6 matches, leaving Walsall to snatch 3rd place in the league off Burton Albion, with this being there 3rd match in a week, 30th match of a long season and the pitch very boggy and the long drive there, uttoxetor started the brightest but with little impact on the Walsall defence of Emily Lawrence, Chelsea willetts, abbi smith and Stacey Smallwood.


Walsall started to find there feet, and slowly getting more Involved, then Danni Hitchen broke from inside Walsalls half before being caught late by a uttoxetor defender, this resulting in a Walsall free kick 25yards out. Sophie Tolley stepped up to take the kick and scored a wonderful goal into the top corner making it Walsall 1-0 Uttoxetor.


The half then continued with Walsall pressuring the Uttoxetor goal, to find there keeper matching the efforts from Walsall attacks. Until Danni Macdougall took on three Uttoxetor defenders, before keeping composure and slotting the ball past the keeper to make it 2-0

The second half Walsall had the wind against them but battled well, but some great link up play between, Chanice Clarke, Lucy Jones, Danni Macdougall and Sophie Tolley, led to them setting up a great goal from Ellie Melbourn who had time to take a touch and place it top corner from the edge of the box. 3-0


Walsall then went on to score a fourth goal when the Uttoxetor keeper made a mistake which let Emma Whitehouse slot home to make it 4-0. Uttoxetor got a late concelation goal when they had a shot from just inside the area that the Walsall keeper Lily Doocey could not keep out.
