Under 16's Girls 1

This was a game walsall went into being the under dog, and with top goal scorer Sarah Hancock not there. So it looked like walsall where in for it. But Walsall put up a great fight on and at times played some great football. We give WBA not much time on the ball, and try to make it hard for them. IT was quiet even for about 20mins then WBA started to get into the game more. Walsall continued to keep battling..... Then we conseded and Goal due to a misunderstanding in the defence.... We managed to get a goal back nearly straight away, when Emily williams pressed WBA goalkeeper who end up kicking the ball against emily to then go in the goal. Not long after that WBA scored again.
Second half WBA started strong and kept putting Walsall under presser, but walsall defence played well and where very strong and the whole team work hard, but WBA presser paid off and they manage to get another 2 goals. I think Walsall play well and the fact that the referee was a bit biased toward WBA, even though they didn't need any help was a bit of a up hill battle for us. Not taking anything away from WBA who played a great game. Kirsty Watkin was player of the game, as well as Laura Smelt having a great game in goal....
