Mark has started the under 6 team for his youngest son, William. Mark is also manager for the Under 10's team for 2008/09. A keen footballer himself from the age of 6 Mark has represented South Ribble at the age of 10. A serious knee injury when he was 13 forced him to stop playing but he took up refereeing and gained class 1 certification as a referee. Mark stopped refereeing at the age of 19 and now plays 7-a-side three nights per week. Mark's aim is to develop the under 6's into intelligent footballers, giving them the basic skills and techniques to be able to take into the future as well as having as much fun as possible.
