The current Wandgas side was formed mainly from players from the successful Epsom Eagles u18 side. The first game in senior football saw a 15-1 win and things continued from there, with the first three seasons also seeing three promotions. This raised the team from the Junior divisions to the Intermediate leagues.

The Ellis Printers Shield proved something of an enigma for the team, despite reaching 5 finals over the years the trophy was never won.

The team however did fair better in the Surrey cup in 2000 by winning the final 6-0, the highest margin of victory ever in a Saturday Surrey cup final.

Two more promotions followed in the next four years and the team finally reached the 1st Division in 04/05. Unfortunately having lost a number of key players the squad was weakened and the side finished fourth from bottom and were rather harshly relegated.

With the addition of new players and the return of a number of players, the squad looks strong again and is aiming to bounce straight back to Division 1.

All in all it has been a busy and enjoyable eight years with 5 promotions, 1 relegation, 6 Cup finals and a Surrey cup win.

Another promotion would not go amiss though…….!!!
