This weekend the Division 2 title could well be decided at Ringmead but one thing is for sure, Warfield United will be doing everything in their power to make sure that doesn’t happen. 

This weekend the Rapids do not have to win the match in fact they can draw and still be champions this Sunday.  This, in my opinion, is great for Warfield & the neutral.  

Warfield have to get a win and we are still in control of where we finish this season, something the Rapids will relinquish this weekend should they lose.  They then become reliant on other teams to do them a favour for them to win the league which makes Sunday a pressure filled game before they head home for a BBQ. 

Warfield have the advantage of being at home and also underdogs, the Rapids however are under the spotlight and have to show that they have what champions are made of. 

This Sunday will see 1 side with nothing to lose and everything to gain in Warfield United and a side in Rapids that have only 1 chance left to secure their glory or otherwise watch on anxiously as they hope others can do their job for them.

Warfield know the key to success this weekend will be to play the Warfield way and not get caught up in any petulant behaviour towards the officials or our opponents.  

Sunday is simply another game where we want another 3 points in our quest to become champions.
