This was a very tight call as any of the lads could have laid claim to this award, but Sam rightly picked this up for his 2nd goal of the game. To score such a goal at this level on a heavy pitch was simply magnificent, a goal worthy of any game.
Another tactical switch saw Ryan move from sweeper to right mid for the Clifton game, although not blessed with pace his touch and passing are superb, he is also the best header of a ball at the club and is constantly issuing instructions to the players. He made signifcant contributions all through the game and his range of passing kept Clifton under pressure.
Jack was switched from right back to left back at the start of the game, he took the decision in the right spirit and contributed constantly throughout the game.
His tackling, commitment and passing was great to see and he helped the team though a difficult game.
