The idea to form a Veteran's team grew from a Monday night kick-about on the astroturf at Watton Sports Centre. A small group of oldies got together just to play fun football - the small number soon became a large number as other people got to hear of it. Before long the "team" was playing friendly matches against other local teams (and holding their own too!). Then someone had the great idea of forming a proper squad and joining a Veteran's League. Watton United F.C were approached and embraced the idea by welcoming the new Veteran's team into their fold. The rest is history in the making........
