NORFOLK VETERANS LEAGUE

The Veterans 1st team will play in the brand new Norfolk Veterans League, Premier Division, in the 2010/11 season. Games will be played on the first and third Sunday of each month. The Veterans Reserves will continue playing in the Norfolk & Suffolk Veterans Football League.

All players are reminded that in order to play for Watton United (including the Veterans) you are required to be a paid up member of Watton Sports Association. This currently costs £15 per year. If you are not already a member please ask at the reception for an application form and fill it in asap.

In May 2009 the veterans took a squad of 18 players to Carrow Road, Norwich to play a friendly game against a young side - one of whom was getting married and hired the venue of part of his stag weekend. Although the vets suffered a heavy 8-0 loss everyone had a great time and we are planning to go back next year. The photographs were all taken by a professional photographer and originals are available if you want bigger, better copies.
