FIRST TEAM HISTORY

After just two seasons out of top-flight football, the First Team have been promoted back to the Anglian Combination Premier Division.

Watton finished joint-top of the First Division in 2007/08 following an impressive 21 wins, 5 draws and just 4 defeats - the fewest of any of the 16 competing teams.

However, they missed out on the title on goal-difference!

United also missed out on a first cup triumph for 22 years, going down 0-1 to Hempnall in the Senior Knockout Final at Trafford Park, Wroxham.
