This group of boys who represent Welland Valley F.C. were formed in 2007 when the majority of the current squad graduated from the Positive Soccer School.
After three highly successful seasons playing Mini Soccer as 'The Blues' and 'The Yellows', the seperate squads merged in 2010/11 and finished Runners-Up during their first season of 11-a-side football. This year they will again compete in the 'A' Division of the John Henry Northants Youth Alliance League.
The squad is made up of boys from four local Secondary schools.
The club is fully affiliated to the Northamptonshire Football Association and was awarded the F.A.Charter Standard accreditation in September 2009.
