Similar to last season we selected a Men's side to play against in pre-season.  Last year we were beaten quite heavily by Charlton Community FC, who were physically much stronger than us and the physical part of the game would be the test again we all thought. This year we demonstrated how far we have come with a comfortable 3-1 win against Kent Invicta side Crown Aleaxandra. Not only did we compete physically we managed to play some lovely football, particularly in tight areas. We also looked solid again defensively, their goal came from a penalty. This was acheived with a few players out which shows the quality strength of our squad. We also showed a sharpness in front of goal with Jordan Jackson (2) and Dean Gould finding the net. Well done to the whole squad with another fine performance.
