1st started in april 2004 the aim was to get girls involved in football as at that time there was very little formats for the schools to be involved in matches between each other as it was totally boys football.

things are now changing the girls are hitting back hard and through this competition more teams are being formed and the skill levels are improving.

we hope this league kick starts the young ladies to join and boost existing teams or form new ones just as long as they enjoy what they are doing.

we started with 8 schools in 2004 steadily rising each year with 24= interested in the 2007 competition.

thanks must go to UCS Surfacing, lincs sport partnership and running imp trophies for sponsoring the three age groups and making it possible to carry on each year and provide the oppotunity for these girls to be involved in the worlds greatest game.
