Biography

Archie, the eldest of 3 footballing brothers, (Himself, Dick and TC), had 3 seasons at Halesworth Town before joining Wenhaston upon the return of the Halesworth & District Division in 1947. It was noted that 'A young Archie Canham was the leagues top scorer in this first post war season.'

Archie started off as a Centre Forward, but then changed places with Reg Brabbing (Centre Half) where they both flourished.

More recently, Archie has been extremely active in his role of Committee Member, Chairman, and general dogsbody. Now President, he allows 'us young buggers' to do the hard work!!
