ABOUT THE CLUB

West Bridgford Albion play in The East Midlands Authorities League division 1 and has brought through some of the most talented football players in the county.

Formed by Pete and Tom Carey back in 1996 the club has come along way from its humble beginnings. Initially it was barely able to pull a team together with some members of the team having to play in their jeans and at one point the club was forced to allow a genuine munchkin to grace the field. But maybe it’s that resilience that has enabled the club to grow from strength to strength.

Having been promoted three times in our 10 year history and setting records on the way we are this season looking to bring the EMPAL division 1 league title to its rightful resting place, the place it has always been destined for.

With a few new signings this season and a renewed vigour we looked set to do what the whole squad and its few hundred fans have dreamed of for such and long time and bring the EMPAL title to West Bridgford Albion.

West Bridgford Albions hard work was paid off when they became the EMPAL CUP WINNERS IN 2007!!!!!

2007/2008 hasn't been the best of seasons finishing midtable and get knocked out of both cups relatively early.

2008/2009 season in contrast is looking like it going to be THE BEST SEASON EVER!!!!!!
