Westbury United Football Club was founded in 1920 and has played at the Meadow Lane ground since 1936. Now playing in the Toolstation Western League, the first team achieved a top ten placing in 2008/2009. The club has always encouraged young, local players, and continues to move forward both on and off the pitch.
The 2008/2009 season saw the refurbishment of the licensed clubhouse and the addition of new seating in the covered stand. With the hard work of officials, players and supporters, the club succeeds in bringing a high standard of football to the heart of the community in Westbury.
