Code of Conduct
16 Feb 2012

Westbury United Football Club would like to remind players, supporters and club officials that the club's code of conduct is in line with the FA's equality policy.

What is the policy?

In brief, the policy is “To confront and eliminate discrimination whether by reason of gender, sexual orientation, marital status, race, nationality, ethnic origin, colour, religion or belief, ability or disability and to encourage equal opportunities.  .... This includes sexual or racially based harassment or other discriminatory behaviour, whether physical or verbal”.

This kind of behaviour is not only completely unacceptable, it is also in breach of FA Rule E3 (2) and as such would result in a large fine that the club cannot afford.

What does this mean for you?

If any player, supporter or club official is heard racially or sexually harassing any other person, or behaving in any way that contravenes the policy, they will be banned from the ground. Notices will shortly be going up around the ground to this effect.
