West completed their league season with a 3-2 home victory against Irlam.


Recovering from conceding an early goal, West had a strong spell to go in at half time 2-1 with goals from Lewis Schofield and Tre Baldwin Willis.


After a bright start to the second half, West missed a couple of chances, this seemed to spur on Irlam, who enjoyed more possession and forced an equiliser.


With West needing a win Andy Nelson changed the formation and brought on another forward for a defender, the change worked as Callum Jones smashed home a winner with 5 minutes remaining.
