Cracking day for football,probably too hot ;) but we'd complain if it rained! 

The game kicked off with 3 halves of 30 minutes and it wasn't long before we went in front 10 seconds to be exact !  Jordan latched onto a through ball and made no mistake 1-0.  
It was all Westgate and Joe looked up for it today and with one of his determined runs he took the ball from wide right into the box and shot low into the net good goal 2-0. Straight from the restart Jordan took 2 touches before sending the ball high into the net to make it 3-0.  Storeys kept pressing forward. But found it difficult to deal with pace down the right wing with Joe on another searing run forward it was Charlie who got on the end of it and made no mistake to coolly smash it home 5-0.  All credit to storeys they kept plugging away and were rewarded when they spilt our defence and got a well taken goal that Ben could do nothing about 5-1 from the restart Jordan found Brandon with an inch perfect cross and shot low past the keeper to make it 6-1.

With storeys making a lot of changes the game was even for most of this 30. Mins with both keepers pulling off fine saves although the home keeper was busiest, it wasn't until 2 minutes to go that we eventually broke the deadlock Joe making a fine run to the far post and slotting the ball home to make it 1-0.

It was getting warmer!!  But most of the football was good to watch with some lovely passing we were unlucky not to go in front on a few occasions, not to be outdone Storeys broke upfield fromOur corner!  And took a well deserved lead, we switched off there lads! We pressed up field again but the defence were more organised this time and when they broke upfield again we gave away a free kick just outside the area and Sam made no mistake smashing the ball in off the crossbar to make it 2-0 to the home team.  It spurred us on and within 3 minutes we got a goal back some good passing throughout the team saw Liam send Spencer clean through using his strength to hold off 2 defenders to slot the ball home 2-1!  There wasn't much time left and from an almost identical position Spencer shot low into the corner to make it 2-2!!  The ball was now camped in their half and when Brandon switched play from left to right Spencer sent a bobbled shot to the left hand corner, it was going in but if our other striker hadnt touched it it would have stood but goal offside!  Unlucky Spencer you took it well, that was the last kick of the ball.   A good game in probably one of the hottest days of the year so far!  Many thanks to Steve and Storeys especially for the free hotdog ;).  

Great effort from everyone and thanks for the turn out especially at short notice.  Next game v Morecambe elite
