West Ham United Ladies rounded off their season with a trip to the King Power Stadium to take on Leicester City, having been invited by the Foxes to take part in the prestige friendly fixture and the Championship side's ground. The Hammers took a two goal lead with Gemma Shepherd opening the scoring when lobbing home a loose ball from the edge of the box and doubling her tally with a fine solo goal as she carried the ball from halfway beating two defenders before slotting past the keeper. The hosts pulled goal back before the break but midway throgh the second spell the Hammers restored the two goal cushion as Shepherd completed her hat trick whne intercepting thirty yards out and racing clear to side foot home.
