A bitterly contested last minute equaliser saw West Ham United Ladies pegged back in their opening group game in the FA Tesco Womens Premier League Cup.
With the early stages of this years competition being held in Champions League style groups the Hammers travelled to Queens Park Rangers and took the lead in the second half through Becky Merritt. Having fielded all their substitutes the Hammers had to play the closing stages with ten players after Jo Woodgates departed with a suspected disclocated shoulder but looked to have done enough to earn the points until Rangers grabbed an equaliser three minutes into injury time amidst vehement claims from the Hammers that it had struck a hand.
