CLUB HISTORY
A new era: West & Middle Chinnock FC (20/08/07)

Club formed by Nick Eckland and John Partridge after the facilities at the recreation ground had been upgraded to League specification. West Chinnock FC (not the newly named West and Middle Chinnock FC) were a relatively successful village team in the 1960's and 1970's but the club folded some 25 years ago. No photos can be found of this era of the clubs history.

First League Fixture- Perry Street League (08/09/07)

The first league fixture for the chinnocks was a 2-0 reverse at Combe A on 1.9.07.

The second fixture was an eventful 3-3 draw with Phil Halletts drive being the first league goal for the villagers. Nick Eckland and Danny Want make up the tally on 8.9.07.

The Chinnocks first home league fixture is the visit of Drimpton on 15.9.07 to Oxleaze.
