The Panthers returned to league action taking on Lee Rangers who were looking to avenge an earlier 6-1 drubbing at Meadowside.

Lee Rangers hit back and reduced the deficit and the game became an end to end affair with James Friedrich making some important stops as the opposition searched for an equaliser helped out with some game defending by Matthew Steward and Ollie Bridges.Cameron Primus restored the 2 goal adavantage with a speculative 35 yard shot which sailed over the back peddaling Rangers goalkeeper.
The Panthers never looked comfortable and the oppositions number 12 dominated the midfield with some skillful runs and reduced the deficit further after cutting through the Panthers defence.
Matthew Deane relieved the pressure with another clinical finish after a surging run by Sean ' the whippet ' Musselwhite had played him in but a further goal from the opposition made for a nailbiting last 5 minutes with Jacob Lee almost restoring the 2 goal advantage with an effort that rattled the crossbar. The Panthers held out much to the relief of the loyal travelling windswept supporters.
