Whitletts Victoria 0
Ballingry Rovers 0

 (0 - 0 at full-time; lost 4 - 5 on penalties)

Whitletts went out of the Scottish Cup after an incident packed match at Voluntary Park.

The Ayr side seemd to have taken the lead on the half hour mark, but inexplicably neither the referee or the assistants spotted that the ball had gone into the net and through the back of the net which had worked its way loose in the soft ground and jointly deemed the ball to have gone past the post.

In what was never a dirty game both teams had a man sent off and Ballingry failed to convert two penalties, the first coming back off the bar and the second brilliantly stopped by Darren Wilson in the Vics goal.

Ballingry won the penalty shoot out 5-4 and go into the next round.
