Whitworth took on and beat high flying PNS 2- 1. A tough physical game was won for Whitworths when Stuart Goosey headed home on 90 mins. Whitworths had lead from the 20th with James Daldy's 9th goal of the season only for PNS to equalise after 80. It was Kevin Fox first game at the helm as Joe Smyth was on leave.

Reserves march on in League

Lee Myaes boys made it 4 wins on the trot with an excellent 4 - 2 home win against high flying St Neots. The away team were reduced to 10 men after 15 minutes when their centre half tipped a certain goal over the bar. James Wager stepped up and converted the penalty with the first of 3 goals that took his seasons tally to 10. At 3 - 2 James was replaced by 17 year old Phillip Carpenter making his debut who then went on to score the home sides 4th goal. these 2 sides will meet again very soon in the 2nd round of the cup to be held at St Neots.
Freeman goal gets title challenge back on track

Matty Freeman scored a rare headed goal as our 1st team edged Olney Town 1 - 0 on the day. A much improved Olney fought throughout and whilst matty freeman scored the decisive goal it was Cavell jarvis in for the unavailable carlton Ellwood who took all the plaudits with an outstanding MOM performance. Olney were unable to contain Cavell's mix of power and pace that should have resulted in more goals. next week the 1st team return to london Road for the first of 3 home games starting with lowly eynesbury rovers.

The reserves were triumphant in their tough away fixture at Raunds winning 2 - 1 with both goals coming from the in-form james wager. james took his tally to 7 for the season with 2 first half goals. The reward is another away game this time at high flying St Neots.
