Wickersley Youth was established in 1983 by Bob Unwin and Roger Longdin.
We would love to help create those early black and white memories, when perms were the fashion...
If you are able to help re-trace the tracks of our past please do not hesitate to contact any member of the club.
Thank you!
Wickersley Youth now helps approx 200 young children, both Girls and Boys, from the ages of 5 to 18, enjoy the thrills of playing football.
Local Schools such as Northfield Junior and Wickersley Comprehensive & Sports College, have become for the homes for the 11-a-Side games, with Mini-Soccer teams playing at Bill Hawes Playing Fields, Bramley and Wickersley Sports College as well.
The development of Girls football has been a great success over the last few years and teams now run from the ages of 9 to 14.
Great effort has been undertaken to help local schools develop football, this is part of the Community Charter Standard the club holds.
