Goal Post This was the first season these girls had ever played football and they started very much from scratch. The effort level from the girls was tremendous and their enthusiasm never waned despite some high scores being conceded. The girls slowly improved resulting in a 3-3 draw against Millmoor Juniors to earn them their only point of the season. The scores in the defeats were drastically reduced though.
Post season Tournaments showed a massive improvement with group match draws and wins in the WYJFC Tournament. Same again plus reaching the semi-final of the Brinsworth Whitehill Tournament and finally peaking by being undefeated in the Throstles Tournament winning the final on penalties. Roll on next season...
