A well battled game although in the first half we appeared to be finding it difficult to find the form of the previous week. It was a tale of two halves the second half we found our shape and played some great football, passing and assisting with a player always in the box ready to received in order to make an attempt on goal. Some fantastic saves made by Georgia Fox, fearless in her approach. As we have no substitute at the moment the girls understandabley tired and were unfortunately unable to get back in time to be able to assist with defence which is when we conceded goals, but despite this the girls were true to form and played hard. Hopefully the sub situation will be solved next week Up The Wick Girls U9A. Well played girls
In junior football, should all players be given the same amount of time on the pitch during a game, regardless of ability?
Yes, always. Getting kids involved is the most important thing.
Yes, unless it is an important game.
No. Winning is important at all ages, so the best players should play more often.
