It was third time lucky for the Colts who took their first points of the season with an emphatic 11-2 win against Wythenshawe Town Pumas. This a great display when the team finally played to their full potential. Tom Cartwright scored 6 goals as he showed his prolific goal scoring technique with overhead kicks included. Aaron Lapenna smashed 2 goals from the edge of the box as he dominated the centre midfield. Further goals from Dave Bradshaw and Lyle Ferguson gave the Colts their first win totally outplaying Wythenshawe. Nikel Bassri was again superb and has formed a great defensive partnership with Ethan Williams and Joshua Benton. Aiden Stott linked up well on the left hand side whist Finlay Maguire was his usual mercurial self on the right being unlucky to score due to some great goalkeeping. A great performance and man of the match had to be Tom Cartwright with six of the best.
