Wimborne played their first game together as a team and narrowly lost out in a 7 goal thriller.

Danny Betsy scored the first after some quality play by Brad Howard, Lytchett came back to equalise by way of a twice taken penalty.

The second half saw 2 quick fire goals from Lytchett giving the score line 3 - 1 to Lytchett, Danny scored his and Wimborne's 2nd with a header from the far post.

As wimborne piled foward to find the equaliser, Lytchett broke out and lobbed in a goal to make it 4 - 2, Wimborne continued to press the game and were denied a goal that appeared to have crossed the line off the crossbar, a last minute penalty from Danny Betsy gave the final scoreline of 4 - 3.

The stats for the match threw up some interesting facts, including the 2nd half shots count Wimborne 16 Lytchet 4.
