Welcome to the web site of Winstanley Warriors Junior F.C. We are a Charter Standard Development Club

We were formed in 2004 by our Chairman and several enthusiastic parents whose children wanted to play football in a safe and fun environment.

We can now boast a membership of over 200 with 14 teams participating in league and cup competitions. Teams range from our Under 7s to Adult. We also have a Development Centre for children aged from 5 years old to learn about & enjoy football

Our Junior teams compete in the Warrington Junior Football League, (the largest junior league in the country), the Bolton and Bury Youth Football League and the Skelmersdale Junior Football League. Our Adult team plays in the Wigan Amateur League

Child safety is paramount & we have an appointed Child Welfare Officer who ensures club members comply with the F.A. Child Protection Policy, Procedures & Practices.

To run an organisation as large as ours takes a lot of hard work, commitment and dedication from many people, all with the same goal: - To encourage children regardless of race, creed, gender or ability to experience the joy of football and further develop their skills, understanding and commitment needed to play competitive football.

Our club does not solely concentrate on playing football. We assist volunteers (managers, coaches, players & parents) who express an interest in coaching, refereeing etc. to attain the appropriate accreditation wherever it is practically possible.

All our managers and coaches have successfully completed F.A. accredited coaching courses from Level 1 to UEFA 'B' as well as First Aid and Child Protection courses. Our coaches are also embracing the newly developed FA Youth Modules with 2 having been on the F.A. Pilot Youth Module 2 ( Developing the Practice)

The club is fully insured as required by the FA.

We are proud to boast that over the years a number of our players have been scouted by local Premier & other professional clubs. Good luck to them all.
