WORPLESDON PHOENIX FC AND GUILDFORD FC 2000 HAVE JOINED TOGETHER TO BE ABLE TO EXPAND AND TEACH FOOTBALL TO MORE AGE GROUPS.....

Worplesdon Phoenix was established in 2004 when a group of adults decided to form the club.

The clubs main aims are to organise football activities for all its members in a safe and happy environment, to help improve the players skills and most importantly for them to enjoy the National game of football.

Worplesdon Phoenix Football club achieved the FA Charter Standard club award in 2007. This was awarded by the Surrey FA.

This means all our coaches have passed the level 1 coaching award or above, or are waiting to go on the specified courses to achieve this. we also have various code of conducts in place for Managers, Parents/spectators and also the players which all members must agree too.

We have our own club Welfare officer who deals with any Child protection issues. We are all, or are in the process of being FA CRB checked.

The club was and still is run on a voluntary basis by dedicated parents, friends and helpers who also make up most of the committee too.

For this season the Club has teams in the under 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 16 and 18's age groups.

The under 7, 8, 9, 10, 11,12, 14, 16, and 18's all play in the (SPL) Surrey Primary league, please do click on the SPL link to find out more about the SPL.

Our club is affiliated to the Surrey FA.

We always welcome new players of any age and ability to come and join us, the first training session is always free!!!!

We are very lucky to have two home grounds, one is Fairlands recreation ground at Fairlands Nr Guildford and the other is Worplesdon Memorial Hall and sports ground, Worplesdon Nr Guildford, where we are also lucky enough to train during the summer months. We have great facilities at both grounds and club houses at both offering refreshments.
