Wolverhampton ended their season by winning their third trophy of the season at a sun drenched Bilston Primary.Telford provided stiff opposition and a 5-1 score-line was scant reward for their contribution to a pulsating game played in conditions which could hardly have been more different to those which were experienced in our previous game against Brierley Hill & Dudley.Max Morris, buoyed by his hat trick for Uplands in the Town Final, gave Wolverhampton the lead after 2 minutes and for the next ten minutes the home side were in total charge until Telford struck back with an equaliser and the pendulum began to swing as the visitors exploited their superior pace.Connor Hobday was a constant threat up front and Telford should have taken the lead with a header just missing the post with Alex Terlechyj stranded but it was not to be and one sensed that their opportunity had gone. The visitors continued to attack after the break and once again a wonderful opportunity was spurned before Will Gibbons pounced to drive the ball home after the visiting keeper had done well to parry a Dylan Multani free kick. The flood gates were now well and truly opened and fine strikes from Aarondeep Sandu,Max Morris and Ben Broxton ended the game as a contest. An excellent end to a memorable season. Many thanks to all those who made it possible.
