Coach to the present u15,s.Will not not take any lip or verbal abuse, also takes defeat badly.

I left St.Peters School in the late 1960's and played for Shrewsbury Town. After I was released I did the rounds playing for Stourbridge, Bilston, Darlaston etc, also Wednesfield Town where I played along side Nick Loftus.

As my playing career was coming to an end and my son started to play for the City team, I decided to take my coaching badge.

After coaching various teams I was asked to help coach Brierley Hill and Dudley primary squad along side the current Chairman of West Midlands Schools FA, Alex Scorer.

It was here that I achieved my proudest moment in football and I led out, along with Alex, the last junior side to play at the old Wembley stadium, unfortunately we lost
1-0 but it was a memory I will never forget.

I then moved over to help run Wolverhampton Schools teams with Tony Showell and I am also proud to say that we have won at least one trophy every season with different teams. Last year we achieved the treble by winning the West Midlands League, the Staffordshire League, and the ESFA Regional Competition at Banks's Stadium, Walsall, with the under13's.

I hope that over the years I have managed to contribute to the lad's football education and experiences. I would like to believe that I have been involved with and put them on the road to enjoying a good footballing future, at a decent level.
