LATEST NEWS 9/11/08

Three games and three defeats for Wolverhampton Schools district teams this weekend. The U14's, U13's and U12's all lost.

The Under 15's were without a game, and met up for a training session in preparation for next Saturdays ESFA Trophy game away at Stockport.

They also took up the opportunity to involve players and parents and start making plans for their trip to France at the end of the season.

The Under 15's also have a floodlit game at Wolverhampton Casuals FC this coming Thursday 13th November v Halesowen & Stourbridge in the West Midlands League. Kick Off 7.00pm.

The Under 14's received a massive shock home defeat at the hands of Stoke. This follows on from high scoring victories for the team and it was their first defeat of the season. They lost 2-3 in a game that saw them out battled by a very strong Stoke side.

The Under 14's play Walsall away this coming week.

The under 13's travelled without key players to play Leicester Schools and despite a good performance they saw a two goal lead end up as a 2-3 defeat.

The Under 13's get back into West Midland League action this coming week with an away fixture against Halesowen & Stourbridge, and hopefully they can return to winning ways.

The Under 12's faced a strong Brierley Hill and Dudley team and lost 0-5 in Coseley. They will no doubt be looking to have abetter result in this coming weeks game v Kings Norton & South Birmingham at home.
