What a cup tie this turned out to be. The first division side came to whitchurch expecting an easy win but this was not to be, after going 1-0 down in 10 minutes to a fantastic goal the whitchurch side dug deep and fought hard to level the score just before half time. With man of the match Owen Ford-Neath making alot of superb saves keeping the 1st division team out and his long kicks creating chances this was a clasic game.With extra time been played whitchurch went behind to another good goal but yet again whitchurch pulled out all the stops and found some extra energy to bring the level again to 2-2, PENALTIES and what can we say Owen saving 4 out of 5 penalties and whitchurch only managing to score one of theres it was sudden death and a shattered whitchurch team losing out to the 1 penalty it was a fantastic effort by the team
