Open Invitation to Club Meetings

Important Club Information
It has been brought to my attention that new members to the club may not be aware of the workings of the committee. As ever if you know members who do not have access to the internet then please make them aware of the following:
1. Committee meetings normally take place on the first Tuesday of each month
2. Meetings take place at the Swan Inn, Ascott under Wychwood
3. Start time 7.30pm
4. Each officer of the club presents an update at the meeting and answers any questions or enquiries from members
5. All club members who attend committee meetings participate fully in discussion and voting
6. Minutes are taken and available from the club secretary

The goal of the club and therefore the role of the committee is to keep everything totally transparent. All and every decision made by the club is discussed, analysed and ultimately voted in by the members of each and every meeting. All that attend participate in this process.

In recent months the following members have attended meetings: Mick Ody, Nigel Jones, Matt Johnson, Mikey Horsnby.

At the most recent home game I addressed the first team and mentioned that a member had suggested that the club have an Xmas do in January 2007! The suggestion made was a 10 pin bowling evening at Eynsham – Rob Denmark’s partner then suggested that we might examine the availability of the Brize Norton airbase facility (possibly cheaper). Leanne Miller (Treasurer) then added that the club is able to collect a substantial amount of the outstanding subs from the 2005/6 season then the club might be able to lay on transport (minibus/coach) at no charge to the members.
